Shore Dives

Boat Charter
Makana Kai Dive Adventures provides boat charts for scuba diving on Oahu, tailored for both individuals and groups. Our boat trips give you access to some of the island’s best offshore diving sites, including reefs, wrecks, and areas known for marine life that are hard to reach from shore. Options range from shared guided dives to private charters, with professional instruction, quality gear, and focus on safety so every guest can enjoy a comfortable memorable experience on the water.

Discover Scuba Diving
$200 per person
Want to find out what scuba diving is like before deciding to get your PAID Open Water Diver? During a Discover Scuba Diving experience, you can try scuba diving for a first time where a highly trained PADI professional will provide scuba gear, explain basic scuba diving skills and answer any questions you might have.
Open Water Diver
$800 per person
The world’s most popular scuba certification! Learn the skills and knowledge to dive safely with a buddy to 60 feet. Includes theory, pool/confined water training, and four ocean dives. Perfect introduction to diving in Hawaii’s warm tropical waters.
Advanced Open Water Diver
$600 per person
Build on your Open Water skills with five adventure dives that expand your depth limits to 100 feet and introduce new experiences such as deep diving, underwater navigation, buoyancy control, night diving, and more! Gain greater confidence and versatility so you can explore more of Oahu’s reefs and dive sites!
PADI Rescue Diver
$1000 per person
Learn to prevent problems and manage diving emergencies by developing strong self-rescue, problem solving, and emergency response skills. Through realistic scenarios and hands on training, you will gain the confidence and knowledge to assist other divers when it matters most making this one of the most rewarding courses in recreational diving and a key step toward professional level training.
PADI Divemaster
$2200 per person
The first professional level in recreational diving. Gain the skills and knowledge to lead and supervise diving activities, assist instructors, guide certified divers, and organize dives. This course develops your leadership, problem-solving, and dive theory expertise-preparing you for ta professional role in the dive industry while deepening your own skills and confidence underwater.
